That would be awesome if that would work. I have an idea myself for a fusion ramjet for a SF story I've planned.

hmmm... miniature sun for a rocket. well the inherent problem is how to make the output high enough than the input energy. I do remember a "diesel-like" fusion reactor though I'm not sure how'd you configure that to a rocket ???
