Hi,

in the book; Les Avion Bernard,I found a two projects related to chez Fouga,created
by two designers,the first was twin engined twin boom topedo bomber float seaplane,
designed by Sigismond-Georges Bruner and the second was a low inverted gull-wing
twin engined bomber,designed by Jean Galtier.

Is there any more early projects to Fouga during this period ?.

Re: Fouga (chez Fouga) Early Projects

Hi,
"Chez Fouga" simply means "at Fouga", it is not a company name or something.
The company name was "Établissements Fouga et Compagnie". They were making wooden wagons but when metal construction became widespread they tried to diversify into aircraft production. In 1936 the owner Gaston Fouga wanted to build a concern with the former Bernard design staff, Couzinet aircraft and Régnier engines. (Source: Planeurs Avions Castel Mauboussin Fouga by Castello.) I think that those windtunnel models are related to that business project.
In the end the project failed, instead Fouga started manufacturing the aircraft designed by Mauboussin, who kept his independent design bureau.
Georges Bruner (ex-Bernard) went to Gourdou, and Jean Galtier (ex-Bernard too) went to Arsenal, working with Michel Vernisse of the VG series.

Was the name "Fouga" already used before the war ? I'm a little bit afraid, that
this title isn't quite correct !

Yes, it was an old company, involved in aeronautics since 1936 as described above.

I've changed the title, I've just found no indication for the years, those designs
were made, so I thought, they may to be regarded as independent designs of
those two designers. Though looking quite modern, they could well be drawn
before 1936, I think.

OK my dears Adrien and Jemiba,

I used that expression from the book and also from my dear Pometablava,but you
are absolutely right,and please change all the title in the topic,I mean all replies,here
is the topic which I refer;

More details about those short-lived Fouga projects, from the book Les avions Bernard.

From TU 206,

anther unknown Project;

In 1938 a three-engined monoplane postal service will be studied
by Mauboussin under the name Fouga 10.Three-seater with low-
elliptical-wing in shape and 67m2 of surface, it must have weighed
4100 kg and reach 360 km / h when cruising. Only one 1/32 scale
model will be produced.
