Forum Feedback

Not surprised either. It was unavoidable, honestly. The thread had been going down the drain over the last five or six pages, and the last few days. It is a kind of miracle it survived for so long.

Let's face it: it goes beyond posters, the very subject of discussion is like an Iraq-Iran war 1984 minefield. With members like Basidjis being given a plastic key to paradise then sent running into the minefield to clear path for the regular, non-nutcase military.

Bah. Good riddance.

Why doesn't the forum support webp format? Whenever I've inadvertently tried to insert/attach one of those it displays it for a split second then says, "whoa, we don't support those around here". If it didn't support it at all I would think it wouldn't show it at all but it does. I don't have any feelings one way or another for the format itself (at least it's not avif) but it is one more step to convert it before uploading. More curious than anything.

Have hit this a couple of times now. Is it new? I wasn't aware bots had been a problem? I mean, why would bots bother with secretprojects?

Edit: Sorry, went back to the top and there was the thread covering this very topic on the front page. Feel free to move, delete or ignore. :D

The topic was too difficult to moderate fairly, which is why I closed it just now.
In terms of fairness, I don't mind not being allowed in SpaceX, but--once again--we have a situation where folks are allowed are allowed to attack SLS, but I not allowed to defend it.

This is not about Byeman and myself
He was very ugly to Carolyn Porco, an individual of stature. She was savaged worse by the Elon cult. Blue Abyssal and Byeman both need to be banned from the SLS thread if I can't post there either.

They can sing their little hymns to Elon anywhere else.

SpaceNews is the worst of course-- ALL defenders were silenced there.

Libertarian types aren't as pro freedom as they pretend to be. Ask one if their should even be such a thing as voting rights.

Bots are causing a serious load on the server.Instead of 200 users, we get 2000, at times 5000. Large amounts of traffic is also coming from weird places - Vietnam and Brazil for instance. It seems like the world + dog are training LLMs or something.
