F4U Corsair Inline engine?

I´m a bit confused about my memories. Did a inline engine Corsair project, prototype or some like this ? I think years ago I saw some, but not sure about that.

The closest thing - to inline - was the massive R-4360 FOUR row radial engines installed in a handful of Super Corsairs built at the end of WW2.
R-4360s were so maintenance-intensive that they were only operated by the USAF Transport Command (Boeing KC-97 Strato-Freighters, Fairchild C-119 Flying Boxcars, etc.) and the handful of airlines that flew Boeing Strato-Cruisers (KC-97 derivative).
Only a pair of Super Corsairs survive in airworthy condition.

I think that's down to one now since Bob Odegaard was sadly killed...
