Equipment for time travel

I think traveling back to recent history would actually be good opportunity to bring recently extinct plants and animals back to the present to help with environmental efforts. Animals like the Thylacine, Steller's Sea Cow, Quagga, Western Black Rhinoceros, and the numerous subspecies of wolves, lions, and tigers that went extinct during the 1800-1900s and have left gaps in the ecology. If we go back a few hundred or thousand years before these plants and animals were at risk and bring some to the present, it could help fill these gaps which we would only be able to patch with different extant animals. It would be a godsend for environmentalism efforts and could help bring back lost ecology that was previously considered irreparably damaged.

Unfortunately, environmentalism doesn't get as much funding or attention from the general public as it honestly should, and people probably won't care as much about recently extinct animals when dinosaurs are on the table. So to pay for all of it, we could send a british zoologist back in time to collect more popular prehistoric animals to put in a big zoo, like some kind of Prehistoric Park or something. Then we film it all and turn it into a hit BBC documentary series that gets cancelled after the first season because the studio wants to focus more on Primeval.

Dinosaurs :) - I bought the boxset in Koblenz.
Dubbed in German, second audio track English.
Hours of fun.

Huh - Dinos in a box set. Arjen, I honestly hope and believe we would get along just swell (and after my formal retirement from Boeing at the end of past May and a planned Central Europe visit), perhaps we could arrange a meet in the old countries? Ich spreche Deutsch, but willl travel.
