Early Submersible Aircraft Projects

Apart from the post-war ones, some pre-war projects for such aircraft were already mentioned:

The already mentioned article in the "Fliegerkalender 2014" shows two more projects, one designed by
Paul De Asis (US-patent 2.162.066) and the other from Earl Brigs (US-patent 2.444.332). Both should fold their
wings backwards for diving, but while the De Asis draing at least seem to have sufficient wing area, Briggs gave
his vehicle hardly more, than slightly enlarged depth rudders.
