Early Soviet Jet Fighters by Yefim Gordon & Dimitri Komissarov (Hikoki)

That team of Gordon & Komissarov are at it again with another Hikoki book. Obviously aimed at the same audience as the recent Early U.S. Jet Fighters, this one has the exact same name as a book that Gordon did in Midland's Red Star series some 12 years ago, so this larger volume should trump that one.

Crecy's website lists an availability of 30 April in the U.K.; Amazon lists 1 June in the U.S. This image is actually from the Amazon site, since Crecy's cover shows only Yakovlev aircraft, which doesn't seem likely.

For the most part, I would guess that the aircraft covered in the earlier Red Star book. But here is what Crecy's website says:

• Photographs and illustrations sourced from the original project documents
• Contains projects developed by the OKBs
• Information on experimental aircraft, published for the first time
