EADS MMMS aircraft

Hesham, please do not use this website as a reference. It has one of airbus A3XX studies labeled as lighter than air airship. Its stupidity of its own.

Also, the text on the website (lifted directly from Airforce-technology.com) discusses the EADS MMMS, which is an electronic mission management system for the Airbus A400M, not a specific aircraft. The aircraft picture happens to accompany the paragraph, but it's not related.

The aircraft in the picture is clearly older than EADS, and I'd guess it's a product of a US company.

Ahah! I found the report that picture and text are stolen from. To judge from the footnotes, this is a Boeing design concept from 1977-78.

Figure 2 shows a smaller aircraft that has potential for serving the passenger as well as the air-freight market. It employs over-the-wing engines to give a low-wing platform while achieving a low cargo deck. It has a payload of 115,000 lb and a takeoff weight of 349,000 lb for a range of 3600 n.mile.
