The book American Secret Projects: US Airlifters Since 1962 describes in detail the Model 2007 carrier on-board delivery aircraft project, which was basically a scaled-down Model 1906A with a swing-tail loading arrangement. Two versions of the Model 2007 were envisaged, the four-engine Model 2007-1 and the twin-engine Model 2007-2. Specifications for both variants (from page 157 of ASP3) are as follows:

Model 2007-1
Powerplant: four 1,451 shp (1,082 kW) Lycoming T53 turboprops
Length: 68 ft (20.6 meters)
Span: 78.6 ft (23.97 meters)

Max take-off weight: 40,400 lb (18,342 kg)

If anyone can post photocopies of Douglas company drawings of the Model 2007 on this thread, I'd be enlightened.
