Actually, there’s a pretty cool idea: if we massively promote wind and solar power across Asia and connect the power grids of all the countries, it would really boost clean energy efficiency and let lots of inland countries export clean energy thanks to their own environmental advantages. By 2030, it's expected that Asian countries’ electricity demand will make up about half of the world's total. So, building such a grid would make a lot of sense. Plus, China’s ultra-high voltage AC grid has already shown that this kind of plan can work.
