Form meets function. I have to wonder if the price tag of the flying wing and associated control laws might make this a more economical approach. I am one that thinks "stealth" is not going to remain worth the investment. Some renders of a HALE CCA with a MQ-25 style inlet and EOTS-style IRST on the bottom. Perhaps I'll eventually make a texture for this one
A flying wing would undoubtedly be better for this design, but I enjoy 'kitbashing' some of these design concepts together, probably as a result of my love for star wars.
Absolutely more economical than dealing with a flying wing, as long as you can get somewhat similar amounts of range for its mission set.Form meets function. Very impressive work, now it only needs some camoflageI have recently been working on my own vision of NGAD, and wanted to share some preliminary renders. I've been spending a lot of time on the S-ducts, control surface shaping, and internal 'fit', which I have also included in the photos below. If anyone is curious, or might be interested in doing some sort of NGAD design thread (for the purpose of speculation, and fun, of couse) I would not be against it.
Feel free to share your thoughts, and ask questions. Thanks

Blender, which is free. A Fantastic program for general 3D design, but it leaves something to be desired if you would like to calculate volumes and work a more technical approachNice!
What's your preferred tool for 3D modeling?
