Hi,


the CRDA Z-1015B was a military version of Z-1015,powered by three engines
as a medium bomber aircraft,and the Z-1016 was a single engined derivative
of Z-1015.

As the Wellesley is mentioned, I would think, that the former engine nacelles maybe should be used for
carrying payload/bombs ? But as the Italians were clinging to 3-engined bombers because of shortage
of really powerful engines and as the drawing seem to show at least the same front engine, such a design
probably would have been grossly underpowered.

My guess for Z-1016 is as follows.
In 22th of November 1938, CRDA proposed to develop CRDA Cant Z-1016 to break Wellesley's non stop long range flight from Egypt to Australia in 1938, but this project did not progress deeply.
 
I'm asking if there is any photo of the CANT Z 1015 first version,
that is the one with a tandem cockpit placed on the tail, just before the fin.
This version was built and it made seven flights before undergoing an upgrade that led to the CANT 1015 with the rounded cockpit resembling a smoothed CANT 1007.
