The best-selling Sahara and Raise the Titanic! writer, saw his adventure books turned into movies.

Long time ago my mom worked at a drug store with a decent paperback book section and was always on the look out for a good read. She came across Raise the Titanic and thought I would enjoy it.

Well decades later I’ve read all his books in the Pitt, Austin, Cabrillo series and have a miniature dachshund name Doxa

The first book of his I ever read was Mayday (also published under its original name, The Mediterranean Caper), in my local library back around the mid-80s I believe.

I read out practically all his books (Italian edition).
I started with "Treasure" in 1992 and never stopped.
