Civilian nuclear power and renewables and other power options

It's not about what I think about the detestable wind and photovoltaic energies, reality will just prevail over ideology when the elites understand that they need Artificial Intelligence to survive and that Artificial Intelligence needs enormous amounts of energy (be prepared to have fun when the brainless dinosaur of propaganda tries to turn 180 degrees). There is nothing to object to small human settlements trying to be energy self-sufficient using wind and sun... if they do not try to impose their beliefs on others.

Reading the messages, it gives me the impression that we act as agents (like politicians do) of the different economic interests at stake. Could we consider closing these threads and moving on to other less "ideologized" matters?

Speaking of roadblocks

Energy density has always been the real issue...a gallon of gasoline actually has more hydrogen than...a gallon of of cryogenic hydrogen. It is easier to store it chemically than mechanically.

Carbon is the P-Diddy of elements...it'll bond with anything...strip the H's from it and it'll put a death grip on any O's it can find. It's controlling that way

That doesn't mean we shouldn't try to just use hydrogen at some level.

Some hope:

This explains gasoline v. batteries rather well.
