These pics have started popping up on Chinese mill forums claiming to be a "Chinese RQ-170" type UAV.

Hope this is the right place on the forum for this :-\

Doesn't look that much different; both have the rear of the fuselage and wingtips nearly inline, both have continuous leading edges from nose to wingtip, both are similar in scale. Additionally, those hangar shots appear to show a an uplink antenna panel (the circular / ovoid composite panel on top), like on the Sharp Sword photos.

Lastly, it'd make sense too; if these photos are both recent - there'd be multiple airframes being developed for different test roles.

They are different aircraft, sharp sword has a shape more like neuron/X-45C. This thing has resembles RQ-170/sea ghost.

Wing geometry is also much different and proportionally much longer.

definitely it's not a Sharp Sword
interesting
