This pic taken from JAWF
Still no one tell me what it sis and what use for?
The boat seems to be not complete.
Also there are some improved projects based on some existent ship.
The 4th one I believe is building somewhere now.

Does anyone have extra info on these projects, even though I'm not into battleships, cruisers, or destroyers?

Also it should be added to the list the original 1968 055 project of a 8000 ton AA missile destroyer, the 2009 prelimary design of the present 055 DDG that had a 20000 ton displacement and various carrier projects preceding Liaoning from '70 to '90. PLAN is extremely secretive about his actual ship let alone paper project.

Is this an accurate representation of a modernization accomplished for the Hai Chi cruiser of the early 1900s or was this just speculation? Hai Chi modernized .jpg

we’ll wait for many years
We would have more chances waiting for Godot. Still something surface (quite literally in this case), like this semi-submersible arsenal ship concept worked some years ago by Admiral Ma Weiming team, the same guys that are working on electromagnetic catapults, EM guns, direct energy weapons and IEPS. It was (maybe still is?) intended as a large (between 10k and 20k ton) platform for a large range of missiles, included the never employed on board vessels and much feared Df-21D/Df-26 ASBM.
