China DF-17 hypersonic boost-glide missile carrier

That's weird, that image of 615 Brigade's base (Meizhou) isn't showing in Google Earth for me.

Edit - nevermind, I figured out the problem. Apparently if you leave the program logged in and running for days at a time it doesn't always catch up to the updates.

It seems they are right; the DF17 has two configurations: one is a wave-riding body configuration, and the other is a twin-cone configuration.

I have not seen a biconic glider for that system and it seems unlikely that two separate efforts made it to production.

I wouldn't call it a DF-17 (until the exact designation is revealed), but its not a DF-16 in a DF-17 launcher either. Potentially a cheaper missile with a larger explosive mass for the same launcher. (ss by kalec in an another forum)
Edit; it was always assumed/known? the DF-17 launcher can launch weapons other than the gliding DF-ZF, but this is the first time we've seen it carry something else afaik.
