Any idea when integration of the radar is expected?

However, the engineering work so far has not considered possible candidate radar systems for the C-295.

That's a bit careless.

Airbus Military has teamed with Israel Aerospace Indistries' Elta division to develop an airborne early warning (AEW) version of the C-295 tactial transport equipped with Elta's fourth-generation active-array AEW radar mounted in a rotating rotordome above the fuselage. The C-295 AEW in now flying with the rotodome fitted, but without the radar installed.
