Hi,
the Byuro Osobykh Konstrooktsiy (BOK) was formed in 1930,and its
aircraft list is,
– BOK-1 Development and flight testing;
– BOK-2 (TsKB-5) A small aircraft with a split wing designed by S. Krichevsky,
equipped with an M-11 engine, underwent testing in 1935-36;
– BOK-3 (TsKB-9) Began production as an aircraft for local airlines, or
executive committee aircraft (IS). Completed in Smolensk at Aircraft Plant No. 35 until 1936 under the designation
BOK-3. It had a modified appearance compared to the original design. M-48 air-cooled engine, 11.0 m wingspan, 7.1 m length.
– BOK-4 was itself Cheranovsk BICh-10
– BOK-5 (TsKB-13) A light flying wing aircraft with an M-11 engine. In documents, the BOK was listed as a flying model of a large bomber-type aircraft, built using the "flying wing" (FW) design. Design work began in 1934 by designer V. A.
Chizhevsky. During testing, the BOK-5 demonstrated excellent handling qualities, flew extensively, and was further improved.
– BOK-6 A twin-engine bomber, built using the "flying wing" design, taking into account the design and testing of the BOK-5. The project was never realized.
– BOK-7 Originally planned as a stratospheric reconnaissance aircraft; design work began in January 1935.
– BOK-8 Design for a pressurized cabin for a production aircraft for flight training.
– BOK-9 Data not found.
– BOK-10 A pressure suit made of airtight fabric, work began in 1935;
– BOK-11 In 1935-36, a pressurized cabin for a fighter jet was developed in collaboration with the Polikarpov Design Bureau. This design later referred to a high-altitude aircraft, similar in design to the BOK-7;
– BOK-12 A twin-engine version of the BOK-7. A scientific laboratory capable of replacing expensive stratospheric balloons. A large observation chamber was planned for the center section of this aircraft. The project was never realized;
– BOK-13 A passenger version of the BOK-7 for six passengers. The project was never realized.
Later, in 1937, the Bureau of Special Designs began designing the
– BOK-15, an ultra-long-range stratospheric aircraft.
