Yes. The Flight Global article containing this picture dates to around the time that the Sonic Cruiser was cancelled due to the aftershocks of the 9/11 terrorist attacks for the airline industry. After 9/11 Boeing was weighing a Super efficient airliner as an alternative to the Sonic Cruiser because the airlines were leaning toward fuel efficiency.
