I wonder where this would leave the Belfast, Prestwick & Morocco operations? I can imagine Airbus would be thrilled having Boeing as a wing/fuselage section supplier...

Spirit have been making a loss on the wings and have been trying to renegotiate pricing terms with Airbus as well as sort out the supply chain... selling to Airbus would make a certain amount of sense for them, whether it would for Airbus is a different matter.Seems it was Spirit that approached Boeing and Spirit approached Airbus at the same time about selling them the Irish plant.
Does this include the segment of Spirit that is/was on contract with Bell Flight?All -
Boeing will be picking up all Spirit Aero locations that supply B737 parts.
This would include Spirit's B737 sub-components manufactured at Tulsa, OK.
