Avro Vulcan developments were to carry up to six Douglas GAM-87 Skybolt ALBMs, against four on the B-52H AML. That was just unacceptable, so Boeing designed the B-52H AML-II, with eight Skybolts. This is how they planned to do it:

If produced, the production B-70 Valkyrie was to carry Skybolt ALBMs as well. I've never seen any artwork on this though.

Need to fire them in the right sequence or Kerbloooey :)

Probably more CG issues that "keblooey" problems. Didn't Skybolt freefall from the pylon for three or four seconds or so before the tail cover came off and the motor ignited?

It was just a proposed option; most likely never to be implemented. Both programs (B-70 and GAM-87) were canceled around the same time.

Hi!

It looks like the fore and aft carried missiles are roughly evenly distributed around the center of lift, especially if the missile tail fairings are assumed to be relatively weightless. This loadout might have even eased the CG complications during launch since the wing-carried missiles are clearly in front of the center of lift.
