That does not look like something truly operational. Try to do that with turbulence and one buoy might well ends up in the... cockpit.

Like the C-130, MV-22 has demonstrated a number of alternate mission capabilities recently. Dropping sonar buoy out the back I believe is one of the demonstrated capabilities.
 
So theoretically something the size of an ATACMS could be dropped out of the back of a MV-22B with the right software changes.

I was thinking about the potential for a slightly different range of missiles, say the L3 Red Wolf, or Anduril's Barracuda. The MV-22 might be able to take a Rapid Dragon JASSM pallet, but it will only be one pallet, making it difficult to overwhelm a target's air defence. But if you move to a smaller missile, with more per pallet, then swarm attacks become more viable.
 
As has been demonstrated in recent months a well defended target set, at operational distances, requires a significant number of weapons to succeed. Ideally this would come from a number of vectors and must include cyber and electronic warfare. I agree with @DWG that volume still has a quality. While one ATACM sized weapon from an unexpected vector might be good for some targets, a number of good weapons (vice exquisite) would be of significant value in general warfare.
