As one of the things you can get when you age is a feeling that everything is worse when you were young. I certainly don’t think everything is worse but there seems to be certain key things that have got worse to everyone’s disadvantage be they old or young.
I think it’s rather telling that even some charity shops now won’t take books as they cannot shift them same with DVDs etc. My nearby library has also had to greatly reduce its stock of books and increase its areas for people using laptops because of the way things are going.
I do think there is starting to be a reaction amongst some against this. But it’s hard going when companies like Sony seem so set against physical media. As yet again they try enforce this change too down.
