BRIEFING #1
File A56-7W. Top secret. Subject: AIRWOLF, a Mach-1 plus attack helicopter. Sought by governments friendly and foreign, AIRWOLF has been hidden by test pilot Stringfellow Hawke - to be returned to the government only if his brother, St. John, an MIA in Vietnam, can be found.

Michael Coldsmith Briggs III, code name: Archangel - Deputy Director of the intelligence agency that developed AIRWOLF. Believed to covertly provide logistical support to Hawke in exchange for flying AIRWOLF on missions of national interest.

Hawke is 34...reclusive, sensitive...a loner. Known to associate with his only friend and mentor, Dominic Santini.

Together, Hawke and Santini fly AIRWOLF at speeds rivaling the fastest jets. Backed by unmatched firepower, AIRWOLF is a weapon too dangerous to be left in unenlightened hands. Finding AIRWOLF is your number one priority. END OF FILE.

who has the airwolf ringtone? who has the tune in their head now ;D

IIRC - the Bell helicopter flew very well with the extras, and was an air ambulance in Europe (Germany?) before a crash. The Gazelle flew like an anvil which was just as well as the series was canned?

A few things-I do have the Airwolf theme as a ring tone, but its crap as I recorded it off an old video I have somewhere, an episode called 'Moffet's Ghost' where the original designer popped up on the Airwolf's computer.
I copied off the various Pics as I am always pleasantly surprised as to what people can do with MS paint & loving the variations on a theme.
Earlier on tonight I did my own, shall we say editing & came up with 'Timberwolf' as a variation, & hope I haven't managed to spoil things,I'll post my alteration & see what you think (if I can work out how to) (don't worry I have a thick skin). I'm trying not to annoy anyone as I am a newbie to this site.
PS What has happened to Jan-Michael Vincent? Anyone know?

In that episode, "Moffet" quotes a line from a book "The wolf has come down from the North and your fat little town is safe, no longer!"... but I've never been able to locate what book that is. Anybody?

Unless he's moved recently, he's living here in the northern area of my city/county in a somewhat remote area. He likes to be left alone now-a-days. I've not seen him that I'm aware, but I understand he's seen frequently in that area at the local convenience stores & around with his female companion. Sometimes he's in a wheelchair & apparently he acts pretty much like he's seen in the "The Insider" video. A friend of mine is an eye doctor & several years ago, not long after JMV moved here, he had an eye infection & went to him. He's got his autograph & they talked a bit.

Thank you Bagera3005.Had toyed with the idea of turning Blue Thunder / Airwolf into Army Air Corps versions,UK police forces etc (as you have done with the Coast Guard,US Army pics). But that could lead to a whole new topic.
Been thinking about this a little bit, as knightrider is supposed to be re-made, why not Airwolf?
Any idea who would be the new Hawke & Santini?

Wow, thanks for Airwolf !
How many remembers ! ;D ;D
So poor Jean Michael Vincent ! :'( :'( :'(

I have a couple of the Monogram 1/32 Blue Thunders that I've been working on. One with AH-1 wings & weapons & using a 1/48 AH-64 main rotor & painted OD to be a "Hughes/Aerospatiale LHX Proposal ca. early 1980s" & the other as an Israeli Aerospatiale Gazelle Gunship conversion, again with AH-1 wings & weapons & finished in the usual IDFAF camo. I've always preferred BT over Airwolf as at least in the movie "Blue Thunder" its performance was claimed to be realistic. Excepting its 'turbo boost' & until it was looped. Considering some helos can be looped, I overlook that move tho.

Uhm....I thought the US government, or the Men in Black White (or whomever signs Michael Coldsmith Briggs III's paycheck) were pretty much the definition of "unenlightened hands" ??? :D

I'm right behind Bagera3005 with Gary Sinise as Hawke. As for Santini, may I be the first to suggest Carmen Electra or Angelina Jolie as "Michelle Santini" ;)

As for the true star of the show, what helicopter would be worthy of modification into "Airwolf 2010" ? Any suggestions ?
