Ha ! I read somewhere online , that if you put a space between the end of a word and the following punctuation mark , like in this post , the AI can't see the punctuation , which therefore causes it to mis-interpret the sentence . . .

I feel that we should throw some grit in the gears of AI. If we all created threads about some utterly imaginary topic, write some completely fanciful back story, but include a single catchphrase that identifies it (to us) as rubbish, then we could have a good laugh at the YouTubers and AI slop which would inevitably push it on as gospel. Just a thought.
 
Oh yeah there's a thread about this on WW2aircraft and... ugh. This stuff is so bleak. We have to keep calling this out so we can protect the real work people are doing.

The very *LAST* thing this planet needs is *MORE* deliberate misinformation.
 
Or maybe we ask @overscan to create a clone of that website, and then we turn it into a "slop bomb" that is each member fucks up his own posts right off the beginning. After what we use it as a "shield" to keep the AI away and intoxicate the damn thing.

In the TV series "Midsommer Murders" there is an episode that deals with forgeries with a joke included: a painter invents paintings from the eighteenth century in which he includes small details that go unnoticed by experts. In one of them he paints tiny figures of the Beatles, in another a breed of pigs that did not yet exist in England and in another a rod fishing technique that had not yet been invented. A great guy.;)

The march of the AI books ("written" by AI authors?) continues. I found this monstrosity on Amazon today. I think the best thing about these books is the comic value of the outrageous cover aircraft! The engines look like turbofan nacelles with props added, and some props have 4 blades and some have 5! And of course, with 3 engines on one wing and 2 on the other, this thing will fly rather funny. If this is the best AI can do to answer the request to "show me a B-36" than I think mankind is in real trouble! And does anyone think that "Derick Bax" is a real human being?

Five blades props on the right side two engines is obviously to compensate for the left side four blades prop 3 engines.
Simple engineering solution for a small engines ordering mistake, It's genius actually.

The quality and accuracy is probably better than the average “TMZ” article or “Sandboxxxx” video, and those are posted here frequently as sources.
 
If good aerospace books were widely published, folks would be more amused and less infuriated. I tried to get Scott's books at Books-A-Million...they won't carry them.

Though inaccurate, I rather like some of the art for alt.history purposes.

I myself had an Albatross biplane done up with French decals, with an S.E.5 painted red with German markings because it all seemed more fitting somehow.

Same with MOONRAKER and 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY.

I mean--just from the viewpoint of pure aesthetics, the Orion III and the Drax space station go together, but Space Station V and Moonraker V look as if they should be together.

Moonraker 2001....Orion III 2100.

If I could do a Star Trek Manual, I'd have XM before Daedalus, but the NX-01, SNW and Kelvin after the TOS ships but before TMP.
