Agusta also presented the AB-212 biturbine and especially a host of projects in the state of models: the A-120 B, the A-123 and especially the A-109 C.
The A-120 B is a heavy helicopter, 23.5 t at full load and 14.2 t empty, capable of carrying a payload of 9.3 t. Its maximum speed would reach 425 km / h and its range would be around 700 km. This project does not currently seem to have much chance of being born.
The A-123 would also be a fairly large machine: maximum weight, 6.8 t; curb weight, 3.7 t, and payload, 3.08 t. The maximum speed of the A-123 should be around 420 km / h and its range of 580 km.
Finally, the 109-C corresponds to a closer future and to a very interesting niche in the civil market. It is a twin-engine helicopter (Allison) of 1,100 kg when empty and 2,300 kg when fully loaded, capable of a maximum speed of 280 km / h and with a range of 625 km. In form, the aircraft is very similar to what could be the "Super Jet Ranger" envisaged by Bell. It could also be a competitor of the Bolkow Bo-105 and, when it is developed, of the “Super Alouette” III if however the twin-engine formula was retained for this machine.
