Aerostatica airships startup

Large airships are like Mamouts, both are extinct, but people are so fascinated by them, that they want them back. I don't know if large airships are more useful than Mamouts, but I would be happy to see one of it one day (but not invest my money into it....)

For an airship to remain stable while shedding weight, it must be able to compensate for this delivery by taking on an identical weight in a very short time. Barry Prentice, a Canadian academic who heads the Isopolar Institute, which brings together North American airship companies, believes that "it's a bit like trying to put both legs into your pants at the same time, while remaining upright. Dropping a load on the ground and compensating for it by bringing up ballast, I don't know how Flying Whales intends to do that . "

Well, it doesn't have to be water, some big bags filled wit rubble could do the job as well. The Zeppelin could remain remain linked with the freight on the ground and than be linked with the rubble bags at the same time. The next step would be releasing the Zepp from the freight and lifting the ballast. There is no need to do so in a very short time period.
