Re: Adarinid AD 3 Fighter Prototype

Thanks Hesham. The designer of the AD 3 was Boris Adaridi (not Adaridin or Adarinid). Apparently, Adaridi worked with two Russian émigré brothers, the Gluhareffs - Sergei and Michael E. (who ended up at Sikorsky).

In 1922, the three produced the Gluhareff S-22 glider. There was also a Gluhareff M-3 (or 3M) biplane glider ... but no idea if Adaridi was involved.

Adaridi was involved with the design of an SK-24 glider (hang glider?) but I'm not sure if it was completed.

After the Adaridi AD 3 was built, the Gluhareff brother relocated to the US and Boris Adaridi moved to France.

Excellent research my dear Apophenia,
