OK, I've seen this designation as well - 3M30 for Bulava-30. So far www.fas.org uses 3M14. Why, while they are from Club/Club-M series? Dunno. Here these tiny numbers can cause a big problems, so I'd better use internet-spreaded ones.

These three are D-5s. ???

That's is Russian TV news feed us with so far - this channel (RTR-Vesti) can be think of as BBC World analog)))
Text at the bottom of the screen says: "Bulava Success"
Editor needs a spare brain - he or she was just lazy to google for the pic. But, you must confirm, that Trident launch is much more spectacular on this photo, so viewers will like it)

Dear Flateric,
Where did you get this beautiful documentary? Was it aired on TV? Is it downloadable? ???
Thanks in advance!

The SS-NX-30 designation refers to the 3M14 Kalibr land-attack cruise missile. I don't think Bulava has received a Western designation yet, or at least it has not been published.

It was downloaded from one of closed-group Russian torrents. It was never aired to my knowledge.

Correct! SS-NX-30A is the 3M14, while SS-NX-30B is the export 3M14E. The designators I have for Bulava are 3M30 and D-19M.

Norwegians were seeing some strange spirals in the twilight sky of the northern winter today. Turns out they were the contrails of a failed Bulava test, according to a Norwegian newspaper.

This doesn't look good for the Russian strategic missile programs.
