Did Sir Sydney Camm start development of the P.1127 after hearing of Michel Wibault's vectored thrust propulsion system, since some British engineers saw the vectored thrust engine as more efficient than separate lift jets, which could prove deadweight when a VTOL jet fighter was in forward flight?
