    F-14 + AIM 54 in fleet defense

    I'm very interested in this :) The 14s didn't intercept the missiles in combat, same as they didn't intercept the missileers in the form of Tu-22 or 22m/26. Let's not confuse capability with intent, and either of the two with what a random internet person tells us. The F-14s were not to be...

    F-14 with canted vertical stabilizers

    An early model, the G-303-1, I believe of the late 60's VFAX program featured canted outward vertical stabilizers like the YF-17 and F/A-18 family This feature was dropped in the later VFX program that resulted in the F-14 does anyone have an idea as to why and also what would be the effect...
