1910 motor battleship project of British ship designer James McKechnie

Was the Royal Navy interested in any way in that project mentioned in newspaper articles like https://www.newspapers.com/image/814693056/?

And apologies if that topic has already been looked into.
Presumably, "motor battleship" means internal combustion or diesel motor (those things were often mixed together into broad cathegory of "explosion engines" in early XX century)?
 
The expression internal combustion engine is the one used in the article mentioned above. Even though the word diesel does not appear, one might argue that this is what the author of the article implied.
 
Yes he does! And my drawings are based on discussions with him but even now my drawings need edit as he constantly fjnd new things and re interpret Fisher's thoughts.
