You are correct that there should not be a ban on critical thinking on French armament programs. I'll take a look at the topics mentioned.

Respect and dignity often get confused. Seems like the two are getting intertwined by posters. If you get corrected, fix your posting habits and move on. This whole fighting with moderators is unhealthy.

I am sorry if my language has been deemed offensive toward other Mods or unrelated Mod behavior. I am not judging a category of person or even someone as a whole when reacting to their specific action.

Nope, its a series of poor actions on your part on that thread, such as jokes on other planes, and failure to stick to the topic at several times. My initial posts were actually not towards you but over comments made by several people over the last several pages, but looks like you felt it was focused on you.
Posts like yours is why threads get shut down. Your ban is only for a short time, I can shorten or extend it depending on how you want to contribute to the forum.

I'm in favour of revoking the topic bans. In general, the reactions to moderation were more problematic than the original posts, which I think were arguable. If we can agree to moderate reaction to moderation, I think the bans should be lifted.
