Michel took issue with my picture showing how to cede part of your country by a stroke of a Sharpie as an illustration of GIGO (one of many factors in why AI can get things dreadfully wrong). I deleted my reply for being very, very off-topic.It's an illustration showing how AI gets things completely and hilariously wrong . . .
cheers ,
Robin .

Hello Arjen, I still think your line of thought as laid out above is spot on - nothing to apologize for.Michel took issue with my picture showing how to cede part of your country by a stroke of a Sharpie as an illustration of GIGO (one of many factors in why AI can get things dreadfully wrong). best to read with this sound trackthe 1973 Sphere Books edition of Roger Zelzany's 1969 novel 'Damnation Alley'.
Ah, the film that Fox thought would outperform 'Star Wars'....I can remember getting a copy of this from a book exchange back in the early 80s,tho it had this cover,no doubt capitalizing on the truly awful 1977 film.View attachment 825015

An even bigger mystery (unsolved) is who stole the original art (by Chris Moore) used on the Legend hardback.A Peter Elson mystery. The artist is not listed amongst those who supplied a cover for Bruce Stirling's 1988 novel 'Islands In the Net'. The attached image however was probably commissioned for it.
