The G-Tex 'Challenge' series - which included the Space Watch I posted earlier began with No.2725 Gladiator Challenge in 1994.
The premise was that war was outlawed and international disputes were fought by 'Gladiators', highly trained Special Forces who fought simulated battles from history. Gladiator Challenge was set during the drive to Moscow in late 1941.
Another was No.2738 Roman Challenge:
No.2746 was Rouge Challenge, the battle was the Western Front in 1915 but hackers put a bug into it literally!
My personal favourite was No.2802, Satan Challenge. It had a great mix of whimsical humour when an evil electronic poltergeist tries to take over. Note the faux pas on the cover....
