I've been trying to compile a list of all the Swiss missile designations. So far, I have:
There are definitely some missing, but there are 2 I'm stuck on in particular: the AIM-120C-7 and AIM-9X. Both I have only ever seen listed as Flz Lwf LL AIM-9X and Flz Lwf LL AMRAAM 120C-7 respectively, which does not fit with literally anything else I've ever seen. Do these have proper designations?
- Flz Lwf LL 63 "SIWA" - AIM-9B Sidewinder
- Flz Lwf LL 63/75 "SIWA" - AIM-9E Sidewinder
- Flz Lwf LL 63/80 "SIWA" - AIM-9P-3 Sidewinder
- Flz Lwf LL 63/90 "SIWA" - AIM-9P-4 Sidewinder (training missile only)
- Flz Lwf LL 63/91 "SIWA" - AIM-9P-5 Sidewinder
- Flz Lwf LL 64/79 "FALCO" - AIM-26B Falcon
- Flz Lwf LL 97 - AIM-120B AMRAAM
- Flz Lwf LB 66 "NORAS" - AS.30 Nord
- Flz Lwf LB 82 "MAVERICK" - AGM-65B Maverick
- Flab Lwf BL 01 - Rapier (idk the variant)
- Flab Lwf BL 64 - Bloodhound Mk. 2
- Flab Lwf BL 94 - FIM-92 Stinger (idk the variant)
- Hl Lwf 94 "TOW" - BGM-71 TOW (idk the variant; this designation is also probably a bit wrong)
