That's what you get for hiring the lowest bidder...

I somehow doubt that Oz workers could stay within 150% of the Chinese workers price for what is bluntly a commercial off the shelf buy. It's a tugboat FFS. Those are pretty standard, whether civilian or military. The only difference is which radios are installed.

They will also not be Royal Australian Navy vessels, and will also be operated and crewed by a civilian vessel operator.
