Hai
The Finnish did some experiments with Morane with skis.
Welknown is the MS 311 with fixed skis.
There has been also one with retractable skis.
Its mentioned in the book by Keskinen and Stenman, but further pictures and/drawings of this version.
Who has something more?

Dear Jjr,

I think your question is wrong, what was the relationship between MS.410 (MS.607) and MS.311,and there was no MS.607 ?.

A misunderstanding.
I was talking about Finnish Morane-Saulnier.
The MS.410 had serialnumber MS.607 and the MS.311 was the serialnumber of a MS.406.
Do you now understand what I mean?

Punctuation is the root of the confusion ... the French aircraft designations M.S.406 and M.S.410 being too similar in form to the Ilmavoimat serials of MS-311 and MS-607. Those serials (and note the hyphens) were comprised of two-letter aircraft type code - in this case, MS for Morane-Saulnier 406/410 - followed by individual airframe numbers.

My question is about the retractable skis and NOT the serials

Thanks, this is the MS.406 with serial MS-311, but I am interrested in the MS-410 with serial MS-607.
This one had a retractable landing gear with skis.

interresting, but what about the ms 607 with ski landinggear?

Hello

I'm still looking through my collection of old Finnish magazines, but so far I've only found items for the MS 311 (and the B239, the Fiat G50, the DXXI, etc.) with skis.

I'll see if I can find the article. From what I recall it was a one off.
