Jeff Bezos will blast into space on rocket's first crew flight

If the rich can bung that much on a short flight to space, good luck to them. Not like I can compete with their levels of remuneration but thankfully, my tastes are a little more low key and my near fifty year old jam jar with 55 arthritic nags gets me where I need to go when I need to go there. Very cheaply thank you. Besides, not sure the local Asda B is on their route just yet.

There's a whole lot of Englishism there that would take a translator a minute or two to suss out. But to your point, yeah, the rich can do things those of us on the other end of the economic bell curve can't even afford to imagine doing. But... the more rich folk do these things. the more these things will come within the reach of po foke. Sailing the world or taking jetliners or owning computers used to be insanely expensive. Now welfare recipients own supercomputers they keep in their pockets to communicate via video conferencing with people on the far side of the planet.
