26 page PDF on making cookies and brownies for the military. So how many pages to build a fighter plane :eek:

26 pages weight as much as a cookie so that sounds about right.
For a fighter airplane you need its max weight in paper, but I can't find that MIL SPEC just now. ;D
 
Well, at least next time you place an on-line order for brownies or oatmeal cookies with your local baker, you can include the sentence "Must comply with all specifications in MIL-C-44072C. References to earlier versions of the MIL specification are not considered acceptable" :D

Reminds me of an article I read years ago in which the writer quipped about the difference in price for a "civilian" WC and for a "military" WC (the military (US) one was/is way more expensive, if the article was true).

Something to think about when debating ATF and JSF... :p
