The YAT-28E and several B-26Ks were painted a green, sometimes described as turquoise are other shade over light gray. B&W pics it looks olive drab but in color pics it is a brighter green or maybe even a hunter green in color profiles. Does anyone know the actual color or name? Also, is anyone aware of other COIN types that were painted in that scheme? Thanks.

The YAT-28 does look a bit 'more green' in photos compared to USN./USMC. OV.10 in Field Green 34097 and Light Gull Grey 16440

I have a note of the scheme used by B-26K in the Congo as being in similar to that of the OV-10 noted above, although in photos it does seem to be of a somewhat more vibrant hue. Possibly the ICM kit or the Caracal decal sheet for the B-26K Counter Invader might have a colour reference code ?

Thanks. I have used Rustoleum Hunter Green and Testors Beret Green and Camo Gray in the past but was thinking of some other types in that scheme and I’ve always wondered what its name was.

I do not have a reference to hand. But as I recall, these aircraft used a special counter-insurgency scheme that was supposed to become standard: gloss green (something like Federal Standard 595C FS14090) with gloss white undersides.
