I am.posting some images of the "zero launch" Mig 242 derived from the Angel Interceptor and a Russian SAM system. Gerry Anderson and his team liked early 60s real world designs and plastic kits as inspiration.

In my opinion there are two difficulties for the Angel Interceptor to operate in the real world.

-The design lacks space in the nose to accommodate the radar AI antenna.

-The undercarriage is designed for launches by means of electromagnetic catapults and magnetic devices of retention at landing.
