So it has been published that 2 Eagles are being restored one to flight status BUT there are some interesting aspects of this "restoration" project...
The company that now has the Eagles under restoration also has to its name the original founder's son at the helm, John Roncz (Burt Rutan's aero guy), and some other top talent...some heavy engineering & business talent for just a restoration don't you think?
Remember this airplane has a Type Certificate so it is definitely NOT a stretch to say the design will come back and enter production. For certified birds, you need the TC and a PC (Production Certificate)...they seem to have half of that equation already.
