A quite similar design, along with a full-size mock-up, was presented at the expo Heli-Russia 2008, by the Russian company "Avia" (or from Ukraine, I do not remember) under the reference AL-55. Propulsion is to be insured by a type of rotary engine.

Cheers,

It is but has nothing to do with the Avia mentioned in reply no. 1. Czech Avia is currently producing a trucks and in a very limited numbers reverse engineered vintage aluminium propellers. Nothing more. Their last produced aircraft was Il-14 built under the licence in early 50s.

Checking on the full size photo, the full name of the company is something like "Avia Project".
I have also add a photo of the engine, but here also, I don't remember the name of the manufacturer, sorry.

Cheers,
