Please correct me if I didn`t got it straight: the discharged gases were cooled just after exhaust nozzle exit and channeled into the turbocharger, as in a remote intercooler? How would the wing "skin" cooler admit air, and from where? Regarding the "compound" engine, it does not resembles the future DVL engine I am aware of, sharing, nevertheless, a "slick" appearance.
