I just came across this. So far I’ve failed to get it to admit to actually having *anything; no search term or combination of search terms results in any hits. But perhaps it is new; perhaps it’s a work in progress… or perhaps all the good stuff is behind some AF firewall. Dunno. But I thought y’all might find it of interest… and if anyone has any success with it, let me know how and with what.

I get a warning that the connection is not private, and may be attempting to steal personal infomation...

The best way to approach this is to "uncheck" all the boxes on the page. Then check "a" box, or at most, a "few" boxes. Then things come up (wait up to two minutes for this to happen). But then....

I found you can only download one document at a time. Not multiple. And you have to wait for the download to complete, then on to the next. Documents I thought of interest included Big Safari, Skybolt, Have Degree, Have Bait, Have Doughnut, Eastern Range launch chronologies, military space operations history 1971-1992 (don't hold your breath--the illustrations did not reproduce very well, despite this being an electronic publication to begin with), USAF atomic bomb chronologies, and so on.

Some are readable, others are taken from apparently microfilm, and are difficult to scrutinize.

Have at it, yeomen!

I was going to post the entire index but decided it was too much work. Here are a couple interesting ones.
This came from the PDF "Mandatory Declassified Records Listing"

In a planet where you bid for, and lost a contract to paint those hallways, and your trained attack lawyer is preparing an award protest to reverse the award.

For all the high intentioned words, the FOIA process is not just for enthusiasts and historians.

I'm still having problems find anything.

edit - showing all records of one type seems to be the best option.

It's flaky as, or at least for me, but as a starting point:

Click on tick to left of 'Reading Room File Cabinet' to de-select.
Select Drawings
Select Teleportation
Clear 'Folder Name:' field
Click Search - nothing
Click Search again and 66 files are available.

(Also tried Photos and Teleportation (and still nothing on the Philadelphia Experiment...)

I found files on MX-2147 (X-16), Project PLUTO, Yak 23 evaluation, Hot Eagle, Project Silver Bug, and Weapon Systems Acquisition Vol II which had discussion among other systems, on RC-135 (all the really interesting info was redacted) and a successor called RCX which would have been based on a B747.

Thanks for the link Orionblamblam!
Has anyone been able to get this one:

F-108, B-70 Aircraft Program Analysis_AFMC

I keep getting an error when I click the download which also kills my search resulsts.

Their sign up system seems broken. Never asked me for a password. They when they sent me a temp password it says "invalid username or password" when I try to login. Been through the process three or four times. Same result. Oh well.

I have it. Good luck reading it though.

Perhaps you are on A LIST.

Of course, I'm on the same list. When I enter the username I registered under, and the password they emailed me... nothing happens, it just resets. Clearly it's a conspiracy to keep all that juicy Project Pluto data away from me.

Weird. I just got two emails out of the blue, in a different format, that fixed the problem. Wonder if they realized they were having issues or something.

Be careful that someone isn't trying a middleman attack or similar.

I've gotten word that a Known Aerospace Historian signed up for this back in 2017, made some FOIA requests... and never heard a peep in response. No email confirmations, no updates on the status page. So an inability to sign on might not amount to much anyway.

I am using chrome: it seems work well if:
1) tick all the documents;
2) use only ONE word as "Folder Name:"
3) click with the mouse on "search" button (not on the "enter" keyboard);
4) a new blank window appears and after 10 seconds a list of items appears too.

I found also that if I want to make another search, I have to update the page (i.e. F5), otherwise I will get always the previous results.

2) use only ONE word as "Folder Name:"
really doesn't matter. you can use several words still if they are not in filename you'll find nothing

no need to. previos results in the window will be replaced by new ones you'd just wait a little
