It is great for the Army to have such a platform but as a recent AWST article alluded to the unmanned systems it controls wil likely define its utility.

The U.S. Army has formally given the designation ME-11B to its forthcoming High Accuracy Detection and Exploitation System (HADES) intelligence-gathering aircraft.

Seriously though, unless they launch these like U.S. Navy sonar buoy the drag of hanging those things on the wings is going to eat into the range and station time of the aircraft. To go 1000 miles is going to make it a big launched effect I think.
