It was postulated awhile back in the press even regular Blackhawks were going to be too heavy fly very for long and MHs are in a much worse situation. MHs do have aerial refueling though.
Any UH replacement is going need all this stuff integrated in much more seemless fashion + a deep magazine for hard msle kill countermeasures. yikes.

The MH-60 variants have always been known to be extremely weighed down with the constant R&D and mods; desperately waiting for a new airframe but don't want to lose the airframe that we know and love. It's a love/hate relationship.
The aerial refueling is a must due to mission requirements but it is also the most hated process across the board for both pilots and NRCMs.

@Renegade_Actual - One can only hope that among all of the great technologies being worked; air refueling could be reduced to a push of a button. If a UAS can saddle up to a refueler and get gas, this should not be a pipe dream.

The SOAR blackhawks need to be the first fitted with the new engines as soon as they're cleared for operational use.

And then the USN will need them for their Seahawk replacement, they want to combine the -R and -S models, so they have a monster cargo hauler that also packs all the ASW gear at the same time!
