Is this os US or Canadian origin?

I thought that he was primarily aiming it for at US market, but you're right. Do we currently have a separate thread for Canadian designs?

As something of a Canadian nationalist I'd like that. Perhaps a single thread for all contemporary Canadian projects...

UVAD Technologies Inc. is a Canadian aerospace company specializing in advanced uncrewed aerial vehicles (UAVs) for both commercial and defense applications. They've recently made headlines by announcing the Alpine Swift, an all-electric, fixed-wing UAV now entering long-term production.

What they’re known for:
  • Alpine Swift UAV:
    - All-electric, uncrewed aircraft built in Canada.
    - High payload flexibility and system interoperability.
    - Used for threat simulation, test & evaluation, and live-fire training.
    - Powered by UVAD’s proprietary FlyLab™ and GraphLink™ architectures with onboard AI capabilities.

  • Falcon Supersonic UCAV (currently in development):
    - Uncrewed Combat Air Vehicle capable of flying at Mach 1.6.
    - Designed with a container-style architecture to allow low-cost production.
    - Dual jet-engine design with parachute-based landing.
    - Versatile use: threat simulation, collaborative combat, and maritime applications.
    - Production expected to begin around 2027.

International Reach:
UVAD is collaborating with INTEC Industrie-Technik GmbH in Germany to offer the Falcon UCAV to European markets. The partnership aims to bring high-performance, cost-effective drones to versatile operational environments including air, land, sea, and cyber domains.
